The ADAM Food System

The ADAM Food system is a comprehensive, feature rich system intended for use by distributors of food and similar commodities, particularly those in a trading and/or importing market. The system was first installed in 1984 and has been regularly enhanced and upgraded. The system is well able to deal with the complexities of trading in the 1990s and will continue to evolve to enable businesses to handle the demands of the markets of the future efficiently.

The preferred computing environment is a Sun SPARCserver UNIX computer upon which the main data resides, together with a Network of PCs.

ADAM Food System Software Options

The ADAM Food System is offered either in full or in a choice of five reduced formats, to additionally suit non-importing distributors or solely trading operations.

    The full trading system is modules 1, 2, 3 and 4 together.
